Tecno Spark 8C with 5000mAh battery, 90Hz refresh rate launched in India at Rs 7,499

Tecno Spark 8Chas been launched in the Indian market o Monday. The new budget smartphone features an octa-core processor along with a 90Hz refresh rate support display and a  massive 5000mAh battery.

The Tecno Spark 8C price in India is set at Rs 7,499 for the single 3GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage variant. It will be available in Iris Purple, Magnet Black, Turquoise Cyan, and Diamon Grey colour options.

The phone will go on sale via Amazon India starting February 24.

Tecno Spark 8C Specifications

Tecno Spark 8C features a 6.6-inch HD+ DoT Notch display with 90Hz refresh rate support, 180Hz touch sampling rate support, and a 89.3% screen-to-body ratio. The display also has maximum 480nits of brightness.

The device is powered by an octa-core processor with an AnTuTu score of 144753 coupled with up to 3GB of physical RAM, which can be extended up to 6GB of RAM with 3GB of virtual RAM.  As per the company, the support for virtual RAM would come with a future OTA (over-the-air) update.

The device has up to 64GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 256GB with an external microSD card.

Tecno Spark 8C sports a dual-real camera setup at the rear with a 13MP AI sensor and a secondary sensor with support for various photography modes. At the front, the handset has an 8MP sensor to capture selfies and for video calling.

The phone packs a large 5000mAh battery, that the company claims can deliver a standby time of up to 89 days. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi connectivity and also has a 3.5mm headphone jack.
