Tecno Pova 5G with 6,000mAh battery, triple rear cameras launched in India: Know its price, specs

Tecno has launched the ‘Tecno Pova 5G’ as the company’s first 5G smartphone in India on Tuesday (February 8). The smartphone comes with a large 6,000mAh battery and is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC paired with 8GB of RAM. Tecno Pova 5G features a 120Hz refresh rate support display and a triple rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary camera. The 5G handset also sports the logo of popular football club Manchester City FC on the rear side.

Tecno Pova 5G price in India, availability

Tecno Pova 5G price in India is set at Rs 19,999 for the single 8GB RAM and 128GB storage option. The smartphone will be available in an Aether Black colour option. The device will go on sale on Amazon starting February 14. As a launch offer, Tecno is offering a complimentary power bank worth Rs 1,999 to the first 1,500 customers who purchase the smartphone.

Tecno Pova 5G specifications

The Tecno Pova 5G smartphone comes equipped with a 6.9-inch full HD+ display. It has a 120Hz refresh rate, 1,080×2,460 pixels resolution, and a 180Hz touch sampling rate. The handset runs on Android 11, with the company’s HiOS 8.0 on top.

Under the hood, Tecno Pova 5G has a MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC, paired with 8GB of RAM. The company says that users can extend the available RAM up to 11GB using internal storage via its Memory Fusion technology. Tecno Pova 5G is equipped with 128GB of inbuilt storage, which can be expanded via a dedicated MicroSD (up to 512GB) card slot.

The device features a triple camera setup at the back that houses a 50-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.6 aperture lens, along with an unspecified secondary and tertiary camera and a quad flash. For selfies and video chats, the handset sports a 16-megapixel selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture lens and dual flash.

The smartphone carries a large 6,000mAh battery that is claimed to offer up to 32 days of standby and 183 hours of music playback with its , according to the company.
