Tata Tigor Facelift Version At Rs. 5.20 Lakhs In India

New Delhi: Indian automaker Tata on Wednesday launched the facelift version of its compact sedan Tigor. The vehicle is available at a starting price of Rs 5.20 lakh in India. The upgraded version of Tata Tigor comes with various new features like square chrome elements inside the headlights, a shark-fin antenna and clear lens tail-lights besides enhanced front bumper, grille, fog lamp housing and door handles.

The company is also offering the sedan in new Egyptian blue body paint. Other new features include driver’s side seat-height adjust, faux-leather upholstery and power-folding wing mirrors with integrated turn indicators.

However, the most important of all the update is the 7-inch Harman-sourced touchscreen infotainment system capable of supporting Android Auto. The touchscreen also functions as a reverse camera.

The sedan comes with the same powertrains in terms of engine. The first is a 1.2-litre petrol engine capable of churning 85PS of power and a peak torque of 112Nm while the second is a 1.05-litre diesel engine delivering 70PS of power and 140Nm of torque.

Ahead of the festive season, the upgraded version of Tigor is expected to give tough competition to Maruti Suzuki Dzire, Honda Amaze, Hyundai Xcent, Volkswagen Ameo and the recently updated Ford Aspire.
