As on Friday (21 April) Twitter CEO is back on headlines and this time it for the Blue check marks (which showed verified accounts). Elon Musk has finally removed all legacy verified accounts with Blue check marks.
Elon Musk tweeted ‘Such a great day in so many ways’ in the morning today and Netizens are left wondering about the reason behind it. Apart from the blue ticks removal, there was a launch of Starship Super Heavy and Tesla’s first quarter result declared in last 24 hours. So it is quite difficult to figure out what is Elon specifically mentioning about.
We have mentioned the original tweet below.

Twitter had introduced blue tick marks 2009. The tick marks were used to help users identify original accounts of celebrities, politicians, companies, news organisations and other influential persons. However, back then, Twitter users were not charged for this verification.
In the recent bluetick removal some of the important persons who lost their Blue tick badge include Bill Gates, Hillary Clinton, Rahul Gandhi, Shah Rukh Khan, Virat Kohli, Priyanka Chopra Jonas. According to reports more than 4 lakh users lost their Twitter Blue ticks on Friday.
