Samsung Galaxy S25 series might launch in January 2025
Samsung is gearing up to launch the latest Galaxy S series, which is Galaxy S25 series, soon in the markets. As per previous Galaxy S series launch timing, which generally falls sometime in either the third or fourth weeks of January or first week of February for the last few years. Now a leak report has also suggested that we can expect the Galaxy S25 series to launch as early as the first week of January 2025.
According to an X post by the user named pnk505, Samsung might open pre-orders for the Galaxy S25 series as early as January 5, with the product launch scheduled for the third or fourth week of January.
This time around, the Galaxy S25 series is expected to include four models – the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, Galaxy S25 Ultra, and the Galaxy S25 Slim. However, the slim variant is expected to arrive a bit late, possibly by Q2 2025.
In terms of look and feel, the Galaxy S25 and the S25+ are expected to be very similar to the Galaxy S24 and the Galaxy S24+ with very minimal cosmetic changes. However, the Galaxy S25 Ultra will go for a design overhaul with a more curved design while still maintaining the premium build featuring a titanium frame and the latest Gorilla Glass protection.
It is also speculated that all variants of the Galaxy S25 across the world will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy, which will be a slightly speed-binner version of the regular chip for better performance.
Samsung, at its developer conference, recently confirmed that the Galaxy S25 series will ship with the latest OneUI 7 operating system based on Android 15, and the company is likely to roll out the same software update for existing and eligible Galaxy smartphones and tablets.
