Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra might offer a 50MP 3x telephoto camera: Ice Universe

The latest leak about Galaxy S24 Ultra reveals that it will get an upgrade from 10MP 3x telephoto camera present on the S23 Ultra.

There is a long time for the launch of S24 series and still then we keep on hearing about the upcoming specs of the device. Even though a lot of tipsters have stressed on the expected specs of the devices, we doubt its authenticity. However, the latest leak about Galaxy S24 Ultra reveals that it will get an upgrade from 10MP 3x telephoto camera present on the S23 Ultra.

According to the latest leak by tipster Ice Universe, the upcoming most premium smartphone offered by Samsung will offer a 50MP 3x telephoto camera. The 50MP camera will be a huge boost over the 10MP 3x telephoto camera that is present on the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra. If the rumours are true, it will be a great news for those who are eagerly waiting for the S24 Ultra.

It is also rumoured that Samsung will use the same 200MP sensor that is present on the S23 Ultra on the S24 Ultra. However, the 10x periscope unit on the camera is expected to be offered with minor improvements. It remains a mystery whether we will get an upgrade over the 12MP ultrawide camera module.

Ice Universe had also mentioned few days back that Samsung Galaxy S24 series is expected to offer LTPO display in all the models of the series. This means Samsung Galaxy S24 as well as S24+ will be offered with LTPO display. The use of LTPO display in all the Series devices mean the standby power of the smartphones will be affected (in a positive way) if a user uses Always On Display.

This will be the first time when Samsung will be offering LTPO display in all its S series smartphones. The LTPO display was introduced for the first time in the S21 Ultra. The S21 and the S21+ did not get the LTPO and this formula of offering LTPO display only on the Ultra variant has continued in the S22 and S23 series too.
