Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G with 120Hz display, 64MP camera launched; Price, specs

Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G smartphone has been unveiled in India. The smartphone is launched under the  Galaxy A-series of Samsung.

The smartphone sports an Infinity-O display with 120Hz refresh rate. The phone comes with IP67 rating for water and dust-resistant.

It features quad camera system headlined by a 64MP main camera.

Samsung has guarantee 12 bands’ support and three years of OS upgrades for the smartphone buyers and has also claimed that consumers can be assured that they will be among the first to experience the benefits of 5G.

The smartphone price is set at Rs 35,999 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model and Rs 37,499 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. The phone is available in three colour options such as awesome black, white and violet.

The phone will be available for purchase in Amazon, Samsung.com, and major retail outlets starting from Wednesday.

The smartphone also comes with a cashback offer of Rs 3,000 on purchase with HDFC Bank cards. It also has an exchange offer of Rs 3,000 for customers.

The Galaxy A52s 5G features a 6.5-inch Full HD+ (1080 x 2400 pixels) Super AMOLED Infinity-O display with a 120Hz refresh rate.

The device runs Android 11 OS with One UI 3.1 on top.

The smartphone is powered by Snapdragon 778G chipset with Adreno 642L GPU paired with up to 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage that can be expanded up to 1TB via microSD card.

For Photos and videos, the smartphone sports quad camera set up that houses a 64MP main camera with an f/1.8 aperture, a 12MP ultrawide lens with f/2.2 aperture, a 5MP macro camera, and a 5MP depth sensor with f/2.2 aperture. At the front, the phone has a 32MP camera for selfies and video chats.

Samsung has packed a 4,500mAh battery in the phone. The battery supports 25W fast charging.  The phone also has an in-display fingerprint sensor.

The connectivity features of the smartphone are 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, a microSD card slot, and a USB-C port.

The phone comes with an IP67-certified build for dust and water resistance.
