Reliance JioBook laptop expected to launch soon: Key specs details leaked
Reliance JioBook’s specification has emerged online which hints that the affordable laptop could be soon launched in india. The leaked reports have suggested that the Reliance JioBook could be an entry-level device just like the JioPhone Next.
The Reliance JioBook was recently spotted on the Geekbench website which revealed details about one of the possible variants that may get launched soon.
JioBook was reportedly spotted on Geekbench listing with MediaTek MT8788 SoC coupled with a 2GB RAM.
JioBook appeared with codename NB1112MM
The Reliance Jio laptop appeared on the website with the codename NB1112MM. This code was also reported earlier in a previous leak after JioBook was spotted on a different listing. According to the details provided on the page, the new laptop will be powered by a MediaTek chipset, specifically MediaTek MT8788 which can be clocked up to 2GHz and ARM Mali G72.
It scored 1,178 points in single-core and 4,246 points in multi-core tests in the performance test.
The chipset is likely to come with Full HD resolution. The screen resolution is expected to be bit lower as the company is trying to make it more affordable.
According to the Geekbench listing, the Jio laptop will come with JioOS which will be based on Android.
The laptop was also spotted on Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification website, which listed total of three new JioBook models.
The BIS website had also listed two other — NB1118QMW, and NB1148QMW models along with JioBook model NB1112MM.
Reports have suggested that one of the Jio models will be powered by the Snapdragon 665 processor. The same model was also listed with Snapdragon X12 4G for connectivity.
The new JioBook laptops are also expected to get connectivity options such as 4G LTE, HDMI, USB-A, dual-band WiFi and more.
