Reliance Jio launches its cheapest recharge plan for Jio Phone users; Check details

Reliance Jio has introduced a new prepaid recharge plan for Jio Phone users ahead of the launch of JioPhone Next. The new plan is the cheapest plan from Jio. The new Jio recharge plan costs Rs 75.

The telecom giant announced this plan after discontinuing its Rs 39 and Rs 69 recharge plans. Now, the two plans are no longer listed on the website or the MyJio app.

Jio Phone Rs 75 prepaid plan benefits

The new Jio Rs 75 prepaid recharge plan brings unlimited calling facility to any network and comes with 3GB of 4G data per month with a 200MB booster.

It also offers 50 SMS per day balance, and access to all Jio apps like JioTV, JioCinema, JioNews, JioSecurity, and JioCloud.

The new recharge plan for Jio Phone users is valid for 28 days.

After the discontinuation of the Rs 39 and Rs 69 plans, the Rs 75 recharge plan has become the cheapest plan listed on the website and the MyJio app.

The two discontinued (Rs 39 and Rs 69) Jio Phone recharge plans had a validity of 14 days.

The Rs 39 plan offered 100MB of daily data along with unlimited voice calling and 100 SMS to the customers. On the other hand, the the Rs 69 recharge plan offred 0.5GB mobile data per day and also provided unlimited voice calling benefits and 100 SMS balance.

Both the plans also provided access to Jio apps to the users.

JioPhone Next

Reliance Jio recently delayed the launch of JioPhone Next, which was schedule to go on sale on September 14. The company announced that the JioPhone Next smartphone has been pushed to around Diwali 2021 that will take place on November 4 this year.

The smartphone is now in advanced trials and will be ready in time for Diwali this year.

Reports have suggested that the delay in the announcement of JioPhone Next’s launch is due to the ongoing global chip shortage.

Reliance Jio had announced that it is developing an ultra-affordable Android smartphone in collaboration with Google in June.

The JioPhone Next will features the Android and Google Play store. The leak reports have suggests that the phone may cost around Rs 3,499 or $50.
