Redmi Note 17 leak suggests bigger OLED display, premium upgrades

A lot has been heard about the Xiaomi Redmi Note 17 and just as the smartphone is gearing up for a launch, a new leak has come out in the open.

The leaked render show a huge jump in screen size, from that of its predecessors and a humongous battery capacity.

  • Display: 6.83-inch (rumoured 7-inch-class) 1.5K flat OLED panel
  • Processor: Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 5
  • Rear Camera: 50MP primary camera (200MP expected on the Pro variant)
  • Battery: Around 9,000mAh
  • Charging: Up to 67W fast charging
  • Software: Android 16 with HyperOS
  • Protection: Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and IP69-rated water and dust resistance (expected on higher variants)

Leaked details indicate that the battery, build quality and display are also likely to get the attention with the upcoming Redmi Note 17 series of smartphones.

While there is no word on any official release in India yet, Xiaomi has already announced that the Redmi Note 17 series will be released in China on July 14.
