Realme Narzo 50 Series set to launch in India alongside Realme Band 2 and Smart TV Neo 32-Inch on September 24; Specs teased

Realme is set to launch Narzo 50 series in India alongside Realme Band 2 and Realme Smart TV Neo 32-inch in a special event on September 24. The Realme Narzo 50 series is expected to have two phones– Realme Narzo 50 and Realme Narzo 50 Pro.

The series is also tipped to bring a Realme Narzo 50A model. Realme has published a dedicated page teasing the launch of the Narzo 50 series and this page has revealed some of the key specifications as well.

Realme Narzo 50 launch date, specifications

The Chinese company announced the India launch date of the Realme Narzo 50 series through media invites and social media. The launch event will be held virtually and will begin at 12.30pm on September 24.

The company has teased that the upcoming phone will be powered by the 12nm MediaTek Helio G85 octa-core SoC paired with ARM Mali G52 GPU.

The images posted on the dedicated page shows a rectangular camera module at the back that houses three camera sensors and a flash. The module also holds a fingerprint sensor. The renders also hinted that the phone may have a water-drop style notch display.

The triple camera setup at the back is likley to have a 50-megapixel main camera, and two 2-megapixel additional portrait and macro lenses. The phone’s camera features include Super Nightscape mode.

The Realme Narzo 50 series is expected to come with a 6,000mAh battery that is claimed to offers 53 hours of standby time, 48 hours of calling, 111 hours of Spotify, 26 hours of WhatsApp, and 8 hours of gaming.

Furthermore, the series is expected to have a “super power saving mode” that will help the battery to last for 144 hours of calling with 5 percent of power. It can last for 120 hours of WhatsApp and 2.6 days of standby time.

Realme Band 2 specifications, price

The company will also launch the Realme Band 2 along with the  Realme Narzo 50 series. The Band is said to come with bigger display than the predecessor, various sports modes, and key health monitors.

The Realme Band 2 has launched already in Malaysia earlier this month.

The Malaysian version of Realme Band 2 features a 1.4-inch touch display, has over 50 personalised dial faces, offers heart-rate monitoring, and dedicated support to track your blood oxygen levels.

Connectivity-wise, the Realme Band 2 has Bluetooth v5.1 support and packs a 204mAh battery that is rated to deliver up to 12 days of usage.

The upcoming Realme Band 2 is expected to offer a total of 90 sports modes and the fitness band is said to be water resistant of up to 50 metres for Indian users.

The Realme Band 2 price is set at MYR 139 (around Rs 2,500) and it is likely to launch with a same price range in the Indian market as well.
