Realme GT Neo2 to feature dual stereo speakers and Dolby Atmos Games; launch on Sept 22

Chinese company Realme is set to launch the brand’s latest smartphone, dubbed Realme GT Neo2 on 22nd September. Now, the company has teased some of the key features of the device ahead of its launch.

Xu Qi, Vice President at Realme and President of Realme China confirmed that the upcoming smartphone will come with dual stereo speakers and support Dolby Atmos Games. GT Neo2 will be the first Realme devices that has support for Dolby Atmos Games.

Earlier, the company confirmed that the smartphone will sport a 6.62-inch Full HD+ E4 AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. And the display will have a 120Hz refresh rate, a 20:9 aspect ratio, 1300nits brightness, DC Dimming, and Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

Realme has also confirmed that the device will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chipset and have a diamond ice core cooling system. The device will also have an in-display fingerprint sensor.

The device is likely to come with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. The smartphone is expected to run the Android 11 operating system out-of-the-box with Realme UI on top.

The upcoming phone will have a triple-camera setup on the back, consisting of a 64-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel secondary lens, and a 2-megapixel tertiary camera.

The Realme GT Neo2 will pack a 5,000mAh battery that have support for 65W fast charging technology.

In addition a report has claimed that the company may introduce another model with MediaTek Dimensity 1200-AI chipset, along with the Snapdragon 870 SoC model.

As per Gizmochina reports, the MediaTek-powered variant of GT Neo2 is likely to be cost around 2,000 yuan (around Rs 22,777) while the Qualcomm-powered variant is expected to be priced around 2,500 yuan which is approximately Rs 28,471.
