Beijing: Smartphone brand realme has unveiled its much-awaited flagship smartphone series — realme GT 2 Series — for Chinese consumers. Realme GT 2 Pro comes with a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 50-megapixel triple camera setup, and the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC.

“With the realme GT 2 series, we are moving towards the premium smartphone segment and it is equivalent to starting a new business,” Sky Li, Founder and CEO, realme, said in a statement.

“realme has always strived to build excellent user experiences with best-in-class technology and powerful performance, and we will continue to walk on the same path,” he added.

Realme GT 2, Realme GT 2 Pro price, availability

The Realme GT 2 will be available in 3 storage variants — 8GB+128GB, 8GB+256G and 12G+256G. Realme GT 2 is priced at CNY 2,699 (around Rs 31,700) for the base 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant and the 8GB RAM +256GB storage variant will be priced at CNY 2,899 (around Rs 34,000). The phone will also be available in a 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant that will be priced at CNY 3,199 (around Rs 37,400). The smartphone will be available in Paper Green, Paper White, Steel Black and Titanium Blue colour options.

Meanwhile, The Realme GT 2 Pro will be available in three storage variants — 8GB+128GB, 12GB+256GB, and 12GB+512GB.

Realme GT 2 Pro is priced at CNY 3,899 (around Rs 45,600) for the base 8GB RAM and 128GB storage model in China. The smartphone will also be available in an 8GB RAM + 256GB storage model which will be priced at CNY 4,199 (around Rs 49,300) and the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage option will be priced at CNY 4,299 (around Rs 50,500).

The top-end 12GB RAM + 512GB storage variant costs CNY 4,799 (around Rs 56,300). Realme GT 2 Pro will be available in four colour options –Paper Green, Paper White, Steel Black and Titanium Blue colours.

Realme GT 2 Pro specifications

The realme GT 2 Pro features a 2K AMOLED Flat Display with LTPO 2.0 Technology and a 120Hz refresh rate. It also has an A+ certification from DisplayMate, and is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus.

It is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.

The phone houses 5000mAh with 65W SuperDart Charge.

It sports a triple-camera setup headlined by a 50-megapixel primary camera with Sony IMX 766 sensor. The other camera of the Realme GT 2 Pro includes a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, a 150-degree field-of-view, and a 2-megapixel macro camera.

Realme GT 2 specifications

The realme GT 2 comes with similar features as that of the GT 2 Pro, including design, and battery. It features a 120Hz E4 AMOLED Display, GT Mode 3.0 and is powered by the powerful Snapdragon 888 5G Processor, paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage.

The smartphone comes with stainless steel vapour cooling and the company’s new industrial heat dissipation technology.

The smartphone features a triple camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary camera featuring a Sony IMX776 sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle camera, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. The smartphone has a 16-megapixel selfie camera at the front, according to Realme.
