Realme GT 2 powered by Snapdragon 888 processor launched in India; Know price, details, and availability

Realme has launched its latest premium mid-range smartphone Realme GT 2 in India. The smartphone will go for sale in India during the company’s fourth anniversary in the country. The Sale of the smartphone will start on April 28, 12 PM on the e-commerce website Flipkart and realme’s own official website.

The necessary details about the Realme GT 2 smartphone are mentioned below for your convenience. For those who are unaware, the Realme GT 2 is the trimmed-down version of Realme GT 2 Pro.

Realme GT 2 specifications

The Realme GT 2 features a 6.62-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1300 nits. The smartphone gets a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The handset is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC, paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 onboard storage. The Snapdragon 888 SoC is paired with an Adreno 660 GPU. The device runs on Android 12-based Realme UI 3.0 out of the box.

In terms of optics, the Realme GT 2 also features a triple rear camera setup comprised of a 50-megapixel primary sensor, 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle shooter, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. It features a 16-megapixel camera sensor at the front for selfies and video calls.

The Realme GT 2 comes with connectivity options which include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, USB Type-C port, and many more. It packs a 5,000mAh battery with 65W fast charging support. The smartphone can be charged from 0-100 percent in just 33 minutes, claimed Realme.

Realme GT 2 price for the 8GB + 128GB storage model (base model) will be Rs 34,999. On the other hand, the 12GB + 256GB version (top version) carries a price tag of Rs 38,999.

The smartphone will be available for purchase in three colour options — Paper Green, Paper White and Steel Black
