Realme 8 5G With Dimensity 700 SoC May Launch In India Soon; Check Key Specs

Realme 8 5G and Realme 8 Pro 5G smartphones are expected to debut in Thailand on April 21 and the Realme 8 5G series may launch in India on April 22.

Flipkart has allotted a microsite for a new 5G-ready Realme phone. However, the page does not reveal the name of the upcoming 5G smartphone for India. And It is being suspected that the upcoming phone would be Realme 8 5G.

Realme has launched many 5G months in India in the recent months like the Realme X7 5G, Realme X7 Pro 5G, and Realme Narzo 30 Pro 5G.

Now, it is going to add another 5G smartphone to its lineup in India by launching the Realme 8 5G and it is rumoured that the new hanset will be India’s first phone to be powered by the Dimensity 700 chipset.

The Dimensity 700 chipset was announced with Realme V13 5G Last month in China. The Realme 8 5G launching in India and other markets is rumoured to be a rebranded version of the Realme V13 5G.

The company may share more details about the specification and features of the phone on April 16.

The Realme 8 5G is expected to feature a punch-hole display design with a 6.5-inch IPS FHD+ LCD screen and 90Hz refresh rat support.

Under the hood, the phone is likely to be powered by Dimensity 700, paired with up to 8 GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256 GB of UFS 2.1 storage.

It runs on Realme UI 2.0 flavored Android 11 OS.

The phone may sport triple camera setup on the rear side with a 48-megapixel + 2-megapixel + 2-megapixel. On the front, it may feature an 8-megapixel camera sensor for selfies and video calls.

It may pack a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging.
