Price Of Moto E5 Plus Cut Down In India; Now At Rs. 10,999

New Delhi: Lenovo-owned Motorala recently reduced the price of two of its smartphones viz. Moto E5 Plus and Moto X4 in the Indian market. The price cut-down comes in the wake of festive season ahead. Besides slashing down the price, the company is also offering a cashback on the purchase of the smartphones. However, the 6GB variant of Moto X4 is not a part of the price cut. Motorola has confirmed that the price cut for both models is permanent and not a limited period discount.

Motorola had launched Moto E5 Plus in July alongside the Moto E5 smartphone. On the other hand, the Moto X4 was launched in India in November last year. The Moto E5 Plus is available at Rs. 10,999 instead of its launch price of Rs. 11,999. Similarly, the 3GB RAM variant of the Moto X4 is now available at Rs. 13,999- down from its previous price of Rs. 15,999. The 4GB RAM model comes with a price tag of Rs. 15,999- down from its previous price of Rs. 17,999. As part of the cashback offer, buyers of the two Moto smartphones can avail a Rs. 3,000 cashback via the Paytm Mall app.

In terms of specifications, the dual-SIM (Nano) Moto E5 Plus features Android 8.0 Oreo besides a 6-inch HD+ (720×1440 pixels) Max Vision IPS LCD display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. The device is powered by a 1.4GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 SoC coupled with 3GB of RAM and comes with a 12-megapixel rear camera with f/2.0, LED, PDAF, and laser autofocus, and a 5-megapixel selfie camera with selfie light. The phone has 32GB of inbuilt storage, expandable via microSD card (up to 128GB). There is a 5000mAh battery with support for 15W TurboPower charging.

On the other hand, Moto X4, is a dual SIM handset which runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat and sports a 5.2-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) LTPS IPS display. It is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 630 SoC clocked at up to 2.2GHz, coupled with up to 6GB of RAM. The smartphone has a dual rear camera setup with a 12-megapixel primary camera and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle sensor with a 120-degree field of view. The smartphone comes in two inbuilt storage variants viz. 32GB and 64GB- both of which are expandable upto 2TB via microSD card.
