Poco is set to introduce its new affordable smartphone–Poco M4 Pro 4G in India on Monday via a virtual event at 7pm. Poco M4 Pro launch livestreaming will be available on Poco India’s YouTube channel.

The soon to be launched device will be a 4G phone and is likely to be more affordable than the recently introduced Poco M4 Pro 5G. The Poco M4 Pro has been confirmed to be the first M-series phone to feature a 90Hz AMOLED display.

Poco M4 Pro: Price in India (expected)

Poco will unveil the price details of the M4 Pro 4G during the launch event. The 5G variant of the Poco M4 Pro was introduced in India at Rs 14,999 for the 4GB variant, the 6GB RAM variant costs Rs 16,999 and the 8GB RAM variant costs Rs 18,999.

Poco is expected to introduce it in three colour options – Power Black, Cool Blue and Poco Yellow colour.

Poco has confirmed that the screen of Poco M4 Pro 4G will feature 90Hz refresh rate, a peak brightness of 1,000 nits and support for the DCI-P3 wide colour gamut. The panel boasts L1 Widevine certification for viewing HD content. The Poco M4 Pro is likely to come with a 6.43-inch full HD+ AMOLED display with 1080×2400 pixel resolution. The phone will likely be rated IP53.

Poco M4 Pro 4G may come powered by a MediaTek Helio G96 4G chipset. It is said to offer up to 8GB RAM and have two storage options- 64GB and 128GB. . In comparison, the 5G variant of the phone is equipped with MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC. The phone should have dual stereo speakers and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The Poco M4 Pro is likely to have a quad camera setup at the back with a 64-megapixel main camera, 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera and a 2-megapixel macro camera. There can be a 16-megapixel selfie camera at the front.

The Poco M4 Pro 4G may pack a 5000 mAh battery that will support 33W fast charging. It should run Android 11 operating system out of the box.
