Poco M4 Pro 5G with Dimensity 810 SoC, 50MP main camera launched: Check price, specifications
Chinese mobile manufacturer, Poco has launched the Poco M4 Pro 5G as the successor to Poco M3 Pro 5G at a virtual event on Tuesday. The new Poco phone is said to be a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 11 5G that debuted in China last month. The Poco M4 Pro 5G features a 90Hz display and is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC.
Poco has also announced a new Moonlight Silver colour option for Poco F3 alongside its existing Arctic White, Deep Ocean Blue, and Night Black shades. The new colour option will be available in two storage configurations.
Poco M4 Pro 5G price
Poco M4 Pro 5G is priced at EUR 229 (around Rs 19,600) for the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage option while the 6GB + 128GB storage variant price is set at EUR 249 (around Rs 21,300). The phone comes in three shades–Cool Blue, Poco Yellow, and Power Black.
The Poco M3 Pro 5G will be available for purchase starting November 11. Customers who buy the smartphone through AliExpress, Goboo, and Shopee can get an early bird discount of EUR 30 (around Rs 2,600).
The company has not made any announcement regarding the arrival of the device in the Indian market yet.
The new shade of Poco F3 will be available in 8GB + 256GB variant at EUR 329 (around Rs 28,200) starting November 11 and the 6GB + 128GB model will be available at EUR 299 (around Rs 25,600) from November 26.
Poco M4 Pro 5G specifications
Poco M4 Pro 5G features a 6.6-inch full-HD+ Dot Display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. The display also comes with DCI-P3 wide colour gamut. The phone boots Android 11 with MIUI 12.5 for Poco on top.
Under the hood, the phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC, along with up to 6GB of RAM. There is also a Dynamic RAM Expansion technology that is claimed to expand the RAM to up to 8GB using the built-in storage. The phone has 128GB of internal storage that can be expanded via microSD card (up to 1TB).
For photos and videos, the Poco M4 Pro 5G sports a dual rear camera setup headlined by a 50-megapixel primary shooter and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor with a 119-degree lens. The camera setup has many artificial intelligence (AI) powered features like a Night Mode. The camera module at the back also has an LED flash. For selfies and video chats, the Poco phone has a 16-megapixel selfie camera shooter at the front.
Connectivity feature of Poco M4 Pro include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, Infrared (IR) blaster, NFC, FM radio, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The Poco M4 Pro 5G also features an X-axis linear motor and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
The Poco M4 Pro 5G is backed by a 5,000mAh battery with 33W Pro fast charging.
