Poco M3 Pro 5G To Be Launched On May 19; Tipped To Have High Refresh Rate And Dimensity Chipset

Poco has confirmed to launch the next affordable model Poco M3 Pro with 5G connectivity on May 19 in global markets. This new phone will be latest addition to the Poco M3 series.

The new Poco phone is speculated to be a rebadged version of Redmi Note 10 5G. The brand has revealed the POCO M3 Pro 5G will come with a high screen refresh rate and MediaTek chipset.

Poco M3 Pro is said to have different design than the vanilla M3 model. The phone will be available in three colors, including Poco yellow.

As per reports of Android Central, the Poco Global Head Kevin Xiaobo Qiu and its Head of Product Marketing Angus Ng has revealed some information about the Poco M3 Pro 5G.

As per the executives, the M3 Pro will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity chipset. However, apart from this there is no other specification details of the phone yet. We can wait for the phone’s launch to get details of the phone.

The upcoming Poco M3 Pro 5G is said to have scored 329,072 in AnTuTu benchmark, while the Poco M3 received 301,635 scores.

If the speculations of POCO M3 Pro being a rebrand of the Redmi Note 10 5G is true then it could have similar specifications.

So here is what we expect the phone to have.

The Redmi Note 10 5G features a 6.5-inch FHD+ LCD display with a punch-hole camera design for the selfie camera. The screen have a 90Hz refresh rate and 1100 nits brightness.

The phone runs on Android 11-based MIUI 12 custom skin on top.

The device is be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC paired with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, 4GB RAM, and 128GB UFS 2.2 internal storage that is further expandable via a microSD card.

For photos and videos, the Redmi Note 10 5G sports triple rear cameras with a 48-megapixel primary sensor, a 2- megapixel depth sensor, and another 2-megapixel macro lens. At the front the device will flaunt a 8-megapixel shooter for selfies and video chats.

The device also has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security. The Redmi Note 10 5G packs a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast-charging support.

Poco is said to discontinue the Poco X3 phone after the launch of M3 Pro. The M3 Pro will be have a similar price as the Poco X3 models.
