Oppo Reno 7 Pro set to launch in India on February 4; Expected price in India, specs
The much-awaited Oppo Reno 7 Pro smartphone is going to launch in India on Friday that is February 4. Ahead of its official launch, the smartphone’s price in India and specification have been revealed online. The Chinese company unveiled some of the Reno 7 Pro specifications through a press release. The smartphone is going to launch under the Reno 7 series, which also includes Reno 7 5G. Oppo Reno 7 Pro debuted in China back in 2021.
As per reports, the upcoming Oppo phone will come with a MediaTek Dimensity 1200 Max SoC, which is an improved version of the Dimensity 1200 SoC. The Chinese smartphone manufacturer also claims that the upgraded chipset will bring a myriad of improvements such as better display, clearer videos, and improved imaging capabilities.

Oppo Reno 7 Pro price, availability (Expected)
The Oppo Reno 7 Pro is set to launch in India on February 4. The device will be coming in Gold, Black, and Blue color options.
According to Sudhanshu Ambhore, the Reno 7 Pro 5G could be carry a price tag of Rs 39,990 for the 12GB RAM+ 256GB storage variant and the Reno 7 5G will retail for INR 29,990 in India for the 8GB RAM+128GB storage model.
However, this pricing does not match with the price mentioned in a retailer’s listing spotted by Passionate Geekz. The retailer’s listing suggests that Reno 7 5G will be selling at Rs 31,490 for the 8GB RAM+128GB storage model.
The Reno 7 Pro will reportedly go on sale via Flipkart, and the company’s official online store.
Speaking about the specifications of the Reno 7 Pro, the device will feature a 6.55-inch AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The display will also have a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top for additional protection. The phone will pack a MediaTek Dimensity 1200 MAX processor, paired with up to 12GB of RAM. In addition to that, the Reno 7 Pro has up to 7GB of virtual storage that serves as RAM.
The handset may offer 256GB of onboard storage capacity. The Dimension 1200 MAX is capable of achieving up to 5100Mbps peak downlink and uplink speeds of 700Mbps. The phone runs Android 12 OS out of the box with ColorOS 12 on top.
The handset will draw power from a 4,500mAh battery that supports 65W SuperVOOC fast-charging. This matches with the phone’s 3C listing that hints at 65W fast charging support. Oppo claimed that the battery takes only 31 minutes to fully charge the phone.
The phone has a technology that ensures the phone does not get too hot during gaming when it is plugged in.
For photography, the Reno 7 Pro comes equipped with a triple rear cameras setup at the back that include a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP macro lens. The phone will reportedly come with a 32MP front shooter for capturing selfies and video calling.
Moreover, the device adopts an AI Deblur technology which reduces the face blurring effect in portrait mode caused due to handshaking. Aside from that, the tech improves color as well as contrast in HDR quality videos.
