Oppo Reno 7 5G, Reno 7 Pro 5G with 90Hz displays, triple rear cameras launched in India: Know all about its price, specs

Oppo has finally launched the Reno 7 5G and Reno 7 Pro 5G in India on Friday, February 4. Both the Reno 7 series devices has already debuted in China in November.

However, Reno 7 5G’s India variant varies from its Chinese model. But, it is similar to the Reno 7 SE 5G that debuted alongside the Reno 7 5G and Reno 7 Pro 5G in China.

Oppo Reno 7 5G will rival against Mi 11X, Realme GT Master Edition, and OnePlus Nord 2 in India. On the other hand, Reno 7 Pro 5G will compete against existing smartphones like Samsung 20 FE 5G, Mi 11i HyperCharge, and Realme GT.

Oppo Reno 7 5G, Reno 7 Pro 5G price in India, availability

Oppo Reno 7 5G carries a cost of Rs 28,999 for the single 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant in India. The phone is set to go on sale starting February 17. The Reno 7 5G comes in two colour options– Starlight Black and Startrails Blue colours.

The Oppo Reno 7 Pro 5G price in India is set at Rs 39,999 for the 12GB + 256GB model and it will be available for purchase from February 8. Like the Reno 7 5G, Reno 7 Pro 5G will also be available in Starlight Black and Startrails Blue colours options.

Both the Oppo Reno 7 5G and Reno 7 Pro 5G are getting launch offers including a 10 percent cashback. The ICICI Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Standard Chartered, IDFC First Bank, Bank of Baroda, and Federal Bank cards holders can get this cashback offer. There will also be EMI cashback and no-cost EMI options.

Oppo Reno 7 5G specifications

Speaking about its specifications, Oppo Reno 7 5G features a 6.4-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and up to a 180Hz touch sampling rate. The display also has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on top.

Oppo Reno 7 5G is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC along with 8GB of RAM and runs on Android 11 with ColorOS 12 on top. The device comes with 256GB of onboard storage to store documents, media files and others.

Oppo Reno 7 5G sports a triple rear camera setup that includes a 64-megapixel primary sensor, along with an 8-megapixel wide-angle shooter and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. It also has a 32-megapixel selfie camera sensor in the front.

Connectivity options on the phone include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Onboard sensors include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, pedometer, and a proximity sensor. It also has an in-display fingerprint sensor.

Oppo Reno 7 5G smartphone packs a 4,500mAh dual-cell battery that supports 65W SuperVOOC fast charging. Interms of dimension, the phone measures 160.6×73.2×7.8mm and weighs 173 grams.

Oppo Reno 7 Pro 5G specifications

Like the Oppo Reno 7 5G, the Reno 7 5G also runs on Android 11-based ColorOS 12 on top. It comes equipped with a 6.5-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with a 1,080×2,400 pixels resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate Gorilla Glass 5 protection, and up to a 180Hz touch sampling rate.

Under the hood, the phone has an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 1200-Max SoC along with 12GB of RAM. For storage, it has up to 256GB of onboard storage.

The phone features a triple camera setup at the back that houses a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 primary sensor and an f/1.8 lens. The camera setup also carries an 8-megapixel secondary sensor with an f/2.2 ultra-wide lens and a 2-megapixel sensor with an f/2.4 macro lens. The camera setup is also paired with a dedicated colour temperature sensor.

For selfies and video chats, the Oppo Reno 7 Pro 5G offers a 32-megapixel Sony IMX709 camera sensor in the front. Its the world’s first phone to have a IMX709 front camera.

Reno 7 Pro 5G’s connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. Sensors onboard include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, pedometer, and a proximity sensor. There is also an in-display fingerprint sensor.

Just like Oppo Reno 7 5G, Reno 7 Pro 5G also has a 4,500mAh dual-cell battery with 65W SuperVOOC fast charging support. The phone measures 158.2×73.2×7.5mm and weighs 180 grams.
