OPPO may launch a new stylish Electric Scooter in India at a lower cost

Chinese mobile manufacturing company Oppo is reportedly planning to enter the automobile industry through the launch of a new sleekeer and stylish Electric Scooter in the Indian market.

According to reports of 91mobiles, Oppo is planning to launch the OPPO EV electric scooter in India in 2023 and 2024. Tipster Yogesh Brar has revealed some details about the rumored  OPPO EV. As per the tipster, the development of the EV is in the initial stages. That means the timeline of the launch is currently uncertain and can be expected to be launched a little late.

Electric scooter price 

The tipster has also shred the details about the price of OPPO EV electric scooter. According to him, Oppo is likely to set the price of this electric scooter around Rs 60,000.Which is  much less than the price of most of the electric scooters in the Indian market. If the electric scooter really comes in such a price category then its going to make a big difference.

Reports have suggested that the company is in talks with the manufacturer for the battery and other components. Some of these manufacturer also supply parts to premium brands like Tesla. Accoring to recent reports, the company has trademarked various electric vehicles along with other BBK electronics subsidiaries Realme, OnePlus and Vivo in 2018.

If Oppo brings the EV to the market then the company could be the first Chinese tech companies to enter the Indian EV space.

Oppo could also launch a Tata Nano like Electric Car in India

The company is also reportedly working on a Tata Nano ,like compact car. Let us tell you that the Tata Nano was launched as a low-cost car and if Oppo really launches its compact car, then it will probably make it quite affordable too. This means that Oppo is primary designing its Electric Car and Scooter for common Indians.
