Oppo Launches Its Cheapest 5G Smartphone With 5,000mAh Battery, 48MP Triple Camera In India; Price, Specs

Oppo has launched the its most affordable 5G smartphone Oppo A74 5G in India at 12 PM today that is April 20. It is also the first OPPO A-series phone to arrive with 5G support in India. It has been launched a day after the budget OPPO A54 went official in the country.

The Oppo phone has already been launched in Cambodia and Thailand markets this month.

The Indian version of the phone has different specifications compared to the earlier launched models. It has a 90Hz display with a hole-punch design.

Oppo A74 5G price, sale in India

Oppo A74 5G price in India is set at Rs 17,990 for the single 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. The phone comes in two colours – Fluid Black and Fantastic Purple.

The phone will be available for sale on Amazon India starting from 1pm on April 26th.

Oppo A74 5G specifications

The (Dual nano-SIM) Oppo A74 5G features a 6.5-inch LTPS LCD FHD+ (1,080 x 2,400 pixels) display with a hole-punch design. It has a 90Hz refresh rate, a 20:9 aspect ratio, a 180Hz touch sampling rate, 480 nits brightness, and 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut.

The phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 SoC, paired with 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB internal storage that supports expansion with a dedicated microSD card slot.

The phone runs on Android 11 based ColorOS 11.1 on top.

The Oppo A74 5G sports a triple rear camera setup with a 48-megapixel primary sensor, a 2-megapixel depth sensor and a 2-megapixel macro camera. .At the front, it also include an 8-megapixel selfie shooter which is similar as the  Oppo A74 5G launched in other markets has a 16-megapixel selfie camera.

The camera features include professional mode, night scene mode, time-lapse photography, 120fps 1080p slow-motion video recording, and 30ps 1080p video recording.

The smartphone packs a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. The phone also has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

Connectivity features include 5G support, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
