OPPO K9s battery capacity, fast charging capabilities confirmed ahead of October 20 launch

OPPO will be unleashing the OPPO K9s smartphone in China on October 20. The company has been revealing the key features of the smartphone through short teasers ahead of the launch.

OPPO has now confirmed the battery capacity and the fast charging capabilities of the K9s smartphone. The upcoming K9-series smartphone will come with a 5,000mAh battery and 30W VOOC fast charging support.

Last week, OPPO confirmed that OPPO K9s will come equipped with key specs like a 120Hz refresh rate display, Snapdragon 778G chipset, and an X-axis linear motor.

OPPO K9s specifications 

OPPO K9s is confirmed to come equipped with a 120Hz refresh rate display and will be powered by an Snapdragon 778G SoC. The phone will have an X-axis linear motor for gaming. The phone will sport a triple camera unit with a 64-megapixel primary camera at the rear side.

The new poster released by the company reveals that it will be backed by a 5,000mAh battery with 30W VOOC rapid charging support. The company has claimed that the battery will be charged fully in 59 minutes with the flash charging technology.

The new poster has also confirms that the bottom edge of the phone has a 3.5mm audio jack, a USB-C port, a microphone, and a speaker grille.

Earlier media have revealed that an OPPO smartphone with PERM10 code name was approved by Chinese authorities like TENAA and 3C earlier this month. This handset is expected to be the OPPO K9s.

The smartphone is listed with a 6.59-inch LTPS FHD+ display, Snapdragon 778G chipset, 8GB / 12 GB of RAM, 128 GB / 256 GB of storage, a 16-megapixel selfie camera and a triple rear camera that includes a 64-megapixel primary sensor, another 8-megapixel, and a 2-megapixel triple camera unit. The phone is also listed to pack a 5,000mAh battery, and a side-facing fingerprint scanner. It is said to be available in three colors like Magic Purple Quicksand, Neon Silver Sea, and Obsidian Warrior.
