Oppo A76 with 90Hz refresh rate and Snapdragon 680 processor launched
Smartphone manufacturer Oppo has launched its new smartphone- Oppo A76 today. The smartphone will be the successor of Oppo A74 which was launched last year. However, it is important to note that that the device has launched in Malaysia.
The Oppo A76 is powered by a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC with 6GB RAM and storage of 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The smartphone comes with a 5GB extended RAM which ensures that you do not face any lag during your day to day activities. The display is 6.56-inches (720×1,612 pixels) along with refresh rate of 90Hz.
In terms of optics, the smartphone gets a 13 MP dual camera setup at the rear and an 8 MP selfie camera. The 13MP primary camera comes with f/2.2 lens. The other camera is a 2 MP depth sensor.
The device runs Android 11-based ColorOS 11.1 out of the box. Users can purchase the smartphone with two colour options- Glowing Black and Glowing Blue.
The connectivity features on the device include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth version 5, GPS, OTG, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port. The sensors present on the smartphone include ambient light sensor, gravity sensor, pedometer, gyroscope, GPS, and proximity sensor. The handset gets a fingerprint sensor for authentication purposes as well. The device packs a 5000mAh battery with 33W SuperVOOC fast charging support. Oppo claims that the smartphone can be charged from 0% to 50% within just 26 minutes. The dimensions of the device are 164.4×75.7×8.39mm while the weight is 189 grams.
Speaking about price of the device, the Oppo A76 costs MYR 899 (Rs 16,000) for a sole variant 6GB+128GB variant. The device is available for purchase on Oppo’s official website in Malaysia. The device is expected to launch in India between a price range of Rs 15,000 and Rs 17,000. However, we do not have any official dates for the launch of the smartphone yet.
