Oppo A54 5G with 90Hz display, 5,000mAh battery launched: Check price, specs

Oppo has launched a new budget friendly smartphone- Oppo A54 5G- in the European market after debuting the Oppo A75 5G and the Oppo A94 5G. Oppo A54 5G will be the third smartphone to be added in company’s A-series phones.

The 5G phone comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 5G SoC, 90Hz refresh rate support display and quad rear camera setup.

Oppo A54 5G comes in a single 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant that is priced at EUR 219 (around Rs 19,452). It is available in Fantastic Purple and Fluid Black colour options.

The phone is available for sale in the European market.

Oppo has not shared any information about its global availability as of yet.

The 4G variant of the Oppo A54 was launched in India last month with a starting price of Rs 13,490.

Oppo A54 5G specifications

The Oppo A54 5G features a 6.5-inch full-HD+ display with 1,080×2,400 pixels resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate. The display has a 90.5 percent screen to body ratio, up to 180Hz touch sampling rate, and a 405ppi pixel density.

The Oppo phone runs on ColorOS 11.1 based on Android 11.

The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 SoC under the hood which is paired with 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM as well as 64GB of UFS 2.1 storage that supports expansion via a microSD card.

For photos and videos, the phone sports a quad rear camera setup that houses a 48-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor, a 2-megapixel macro shooter, and a 2-megapixel mono camera. It also features a 16-megapixel selfie shooter at the front side.

Connectivity options of the phone include Wi-Fi, 5G, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS, NFC, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port. The phone also has dual-SIM (Nano) support.

The phone packs a 5,000mAh battery that supports 10W fast charging and has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The Oppo A54 5G measures 162.9×74.7×8.4mm and weighs 190 grams.
