Oppo A53 Gets Its First Price Cut In India: Check Its New Rates Here
OPPO A53 was launched in India in late August, last year at a starting price of Rs 12,990. The smartphone has now getting its first price cut in India after eight months its release.
The smartphone features an Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, a high refresh rate display, and a large battery.
The OPPO A53 was launched in two storage configurations in the country such as 4GB RAM + 64GB model and 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant and they are priced at Rs 12,990 and Rs 15,490 respectively.
Now, the price of the phone has been dropped to Rs 10,990 for the base variant from the Rs 12,990 original price as it a Rs 2,000 price cut in India.
While the top-end variant price has been decreased to Rs 12,990 from Rs 15,490 after it received Rs 2,500 discount in the country.
According to 91Mobiles, the new price is only applicable in offline stores as of now.
As per online retailers, the device is still listed with its original price on Amazon but Flipkart was seen selling the handset with its discounted price.
The OPPO A53 features a a 6.5-inch HD+ display with a punch-hole cutout for housing selfie camera. It runs ColorOS 7.2 based on Android 10.
Under the hood, it is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 SoC, paired with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The phone is backed by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging.
Oppo A53 sports a triple rear cameras setup that includes a 13-megapixel primary sensor, 2-megapixel macro sensor, and 2-megapixel depth sensor. The device also features a 16-megapixel selfie shooter at the front.
The smartphone comes in Electric Black, Fairy White and Fancy Blue colour options.
The 5G variant of the phone which is named Oppo A53s 5G was also launched recently in India as the most-affordable 5G device in the country.
