Oppo A1K launched in India with 6.1-inch display & 4,000 mAh battery
New Delhi: Chinese smartphone maker Oppo has launched its second budget smartphone of the month, the Oppo A1K in India. It sports a metallic textured finish on the back with a waterdrop style display notch. The newest addition to the Oppo A series claims long battery life thanks to its 4,000mAh battery.

The Oppo A1K has been launched in solo 2GB RAM|32GB storage variant and has been priced at Rs 8,490. The company is offering the smartphone in Red and Black colour variants and will be available for sale starting today on e-commerce sites like Amazon, Flipkart, Snapdeal, Tata CLiQ, Paytm Mall, as well as offline stores. Unfortunately, no launch offers were detailed by the company.

The budget smartphone features a 6.1-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 720 * 1560. The HD+ screen has a water-drop notch on top and comes with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. It has a screen-to-body of 87.43 per cent and comes with Corning Gorilla Glass protection.
At the heart of the smartphone is an Octa-core MediaTek Helio P22 SoC clocking at 2.2GHz coupled with IMG GE8320 GPU for graphics. The processor comes paired with 2GB RAM and 32GB internal storage which is expandable via microSD. For power backup, the A1K comes packed with a 4,000 mAh battery with support for 2x fast charging. Oppo supplies a 10W charger in the box and claims that the battery supports 17 hours with daily usage.
Coming to the camera section, a single 8MP sensor with LED flash is present at the back. For selfies, the notch houses a 5MP lens with an aperture of f/2.0. The device does not have a fingerprint scanner and only comes with face unlock. Connectivity options include 4G, VoLTE, Bluetooth v4.2, WiFi, GPS, A-GPS, and Micro-USB port. It runs on Color OS 6.0 based on Android 9.0 Pie.
