OnePlus Watch Teased To Launch Alongside OnePlus 9 Series On March 23

OnePlus has confirmed that it will launch its upcoming OnePlus smartwatch on March 23 along with  its much anticipated OnePlus 9 series of smartphones- OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro.

OnePlus announced the news through a teaser on its official twitter page. Sharing the teaser OnePlus India tweeted, “You asked for it. You’re getting it”.
The teaser shows different tweets and queries in various languages about the launch of the Watch by users from different countries.

The company first released the teaser of its smartwatch in October 2020. The teaser suggested that it will go official in the coming months.

Later, OnePlus CEO Pete Lau also confirmed that the OnePlus smartwatch will be launched in early 2021.

“Many of you said you wanted a watch, and as you might have heard over the weekend — we’re making one, to be released early next year. Wishes do come true,” Lau has said in the tweet.

As per reports, the OnePlus samrtwatch will have two models having model numbers W310GB and W501GB.

The W310GB model variant may be called as the OnePlus Watch. It is expected to have a square-shaped dial.

The other variant with the W501GB model number will likely launched as OnePlus Watch RX and it may feature a circular screen.

The OnePlus Watch series is expected to run on Wear OS.
