OnePlus 11, Nord 4 and newer phones tipped to get android 17-based ColorOs 17 update
India might see a bunch of OnePlus flagship and Nord smartphones picking up the latest ColorOS 17 update, based on Android 17.
OnePlus devices, including some of their older flagships such as the OnePlus 11 and OnePlus Open, alongside upcoming models like the OnePlus 13 series, are reported to be getting the ColorOS 17 based on Android 17 update in India.
The update’s potential availability in India is suggested by a leak by tipster Yogesh Brar following the recent confirmation by OnePlus of moving some of its devices from OxygenOS to Oppo’s ColorOS.
The list includes many OnePlus flagship devices such as the OnePlus 11, OnePlus Open, OnePlus 12, OnePlus 12R, OnePlus 13, OnePlus 13R, OnePlus 13s, OnePlus 15, and OnePlus 15R.
The leak also hints that the OnePlus Nord 4, Nord 5, Nord CE 5, Nord 6, Nord CE 6, and Nord CE 6 Lite may get the ColorOS 17 based on Android 17 update.
While these are leaked specifications, OnePlus hasn’t officially released details, and users should not consider these official, especially when it comes to timelines.
There is a chance for other OnePlus devices in the Nord lineup as well to receive the update.
The ColorOS 17 update, based on Android 17, when it arrives, should bring new AI-based features, fluid animations, strengthened privacy protection measures, and an all-around better system performance experience.
