OnePlus RT price tipped, this is how much it may cost in India

OnePlus is reportedly planning to bring a new flagship to India which is said to be called OnePlus RT. The upcoming OnePlus phone is said to be a rebranded version of the OnePlus 9RT that was launched in China in October. The OnePlus RT is said to come in two storage variants such as –8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant, and a 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant.

The price of the OnePlus RT is tipped to be priced between Rs 39,999 to Rs 37,999 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant, while the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model could be priced at Rs 34,999.

Citing a source, The Mobile Indian revealed that the OnePlus RT could be priced in India at Rs 39,999 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. It also cited another source and claimed that the OnePlus may launch the same variant at Rs 37,999. The 6GB RAM + 128GB model that could be priced at Rs 34,999.

Earlier reports have suggested that OnePlus RT is expected to be priced somewhere between Rs 40,000 and Rs 44,000 in India.

Let us tell you that OnePlus 9RT was launched in China at a price of CNY 3,299 (around Rs 38,800) for the base 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant and CNY 3,499 (around Rs 41,100) for the 8GB + 256GB option. The top-end 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant is priced at CNY 3,799 (around Rs 44,700).

OnePlus RT is rumoured to be launched in India on December 16 alongside the OnePlus Buds Z2. The TWS earbuds are said to come in Obsidian Black and Pearl White colour options.

OnePlus RT specifications (expected)

The OnePlus RT may come with the same specifications as the OnePlus 9RT. In that case, OnePlus RT will come equipped with a 6.62-inch full-HD+ Samsung E4 AMOLED screen with 1,080×2,400 pixels of resolution and up to 120Hz refresh rate.

Under the hood, the phone will have Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC. The phone is expected to sport a triple rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 primary sensor, a 16-megapixel secondary sensor and a 2-megapixel macro shooter. At the front, the phone may get a 16-megapixel sensor for selfies and video chats.

Connectivity options could include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. OnePlus could pack a 4,500mAh battery on the phone with Warp Charge 65T fast charging.
