OxygenOS 12.1 update based on Android 12 is being rolled out for some of the OnePlus smartphones. The update doesn’t bring many cosmetic improvements. However, it has brought a few features and tweaked some existing functionality.
The update comes on Android 12-based OxygenOS 12.1 skin. The update has brought a new gaming feature called HyperBoost. The new feature was revealed by OnePlus earlier. It also comes with AI storage compression, The read and writes performance decay is less than 5%, and the 36-month comprehensive aging rate is only 2.75%.
The OxygenOS 12.1 brings the HyperBoost full-link game frame stabilization technology, O-Haptics system-level vibration system, portable card case, and other functions.
