OnePlus Nord 3 tipped to feature Dimensity 8100 chipset, 12GB RAM and more

OnePlus is reportedly working on another mid-range smartphone, expected to be called OnePlus Nord 3. According to the recent leaks, the new Nord 3 will come with some advanced specifications. Now, tipster Digital Chat Station has revealed some of the key specifications of the OnePlus Nord 3 in a leak report.

According to the tipster, the Nord 3 will be powered by the new Dimensity 8100 chipset, which is also present in the Redmi K50 smartphone. The device is also tipped to have 12GB RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage.

The upcoming smartphone is likely to be available in two storage configuration that is a  8GB RAM and 128GB UFS 3.1 storage and another 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

The rumoured OnePlus will sport a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen with Full HD+ resolution (1080 x 2412 px) with a 120Hz refresh rate support. The handset is also said to have a punch hole camera in the upper left corner of the screen.

The leakster has also suggested that the Nord 3 will have a triple camera main setup with a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture along with an 8MP sensor, probably an ultrawide shooter, and a possible 2MP monochrome shooter. The Nord 3 will feature a 16MP selfie camera to capture selfies.

The device will likely pack a 4,500 mAh battery with support for 150W charging. Other features include an in-display fingerprint scanner, and X-axis linear haptic motor.

Last week, a 3C certification revealed a OnePlus smartphone with 160W charging with the same specs.

Talking about 150W charging support, the Realme GT Neo3 that is set to launch on March 22 is also said to have 150W SuperVOOC charging.
