OnePlus Nord 2T 5G with Dimensity 1300 chipset to launch in India soon

The OnePlus Nord 2T 5G has been confirmed to launch in the Indian market soon. However, the exact date has not been confirmed yet. The phone was recently launched globally. OnePlus aims to  expand its Nord series further in India by the launch of the new smartphone. The Nord series smartphone are becoming more popular in the overall OnePlus portfolio. The OnePlus Nord 2T will be the first addition to the main Nord number series after the launch of the OnePlus Nord 2 in July 2021.

OnePlus Nord 2T was briefly listed on the company’s official website with a 7:00 PM IST on July 1st launch date.But, later the page was updated to coming soon.

The phone will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 1300 chipset and will support the 80W SuperVooc charging that was first introduced on the OnePlus 10 Pro phone. It will run Oxygen OS 12. based on Android 12 out-of-the-box.

OnePlus Nord 2T 5G specifications

The global version of the OnePlus Nord 2T 5G features a 6.43-inch 20:9 AMOLED screen with a 1080 x 2400 resolution. The display is also protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The global version of the phone comes in two variants – 8GB+128GB and 256GB+12GB. It comes in Shadow Grey and Jade Fog colour options.

The global variant of the Nord 2T 5G sports a triple camera setup at the back that features a 50MP with f/1.9 primary sensor with an equivalent focal length of 24mm and optical image stabilisation. The other camera are an 8MP with f2/2 ultrawide camera and a 2MP with f/2.2 depth camera. It is capable of recording 4k video at 30fps and has HDR and panorama modes for still images.

Sensors on-board include an under-display optical fingerprint reader, an accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor and a compass. It packs a 4,500mAh battery that supports 80W SUPERVOOC charging support.
