OnePlus 9RT may launch in India before Diwali, Tipped to be priced above Rs 40,000

OnePlus 9RT was launched in company’s home country China last week. The phone is said to be a upgraded version of the OnePlus 9R with some additional features. Though the Chinese company has not made any announcement regarding the launch date and pricing of the smartphone in India yet, some leak reports have suggested that the phone will arrive in India before Diwali and will be priced above Rs 40,000.

Tipster Yogesh Brar has shared that the OnePlus 9RT will be priced between Rs 40,000 and Rs 45,000. He also mentioned that it might have the same price as the OnePlus 8T which was introduced at Rs 42,999 in India.

So, the OnePlus 9R may cost around Rs 45,000 for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage option while the top-end model with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage configuration may come with a price tag around Rs 47,000.

However, note that this is all speculation and the actual price may vary after its launch.

In China, the OnePlus 9RT has been launched for CNY 3,299 ( around Rs 38,500) for the base model of 8GB RAM and 128GB storage option.

The smartphone was also been spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) in August, which hints that it will indeed be launched in India. OnePlus 9RT is tipped to come in Black and Silver colour options in the country before Diwali.

Speaking about the specifications of the phone, the OnePlus 9RT is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset, a 6.62-inch E4 OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 1300nits peak brightness, HDR10+ support, and 600Hz touch response.

It runs new ColorOS 12 based on Android 12 and packs a 4500mAh battery that comes with support for Warp Charge 65W fast charging.
