OnePlus 9, Affordable OnePlus 9R Go On Sale For First Time; Check Price, Offers And Other Details

OnePlus 9 and the most affordable OnePlus 9R has gone on sale today in India for the first time at 12pm (noon) for Amazon Prime members and Red Cable Club members.

The company unveiled the smartphone last month along with OnePlus 9, OnePlus 9 Pro and its first-ever watch, OnePlus Watch.

OnePlus 9 and the OnePlus 9R come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 series SoCs, high refresh rate displays and multiple rear camera setup. Both the handset is offered in two RAM and storage configurations and multiple colour options.

OnePlus 9, OnePlus 9R Price, sale offers in India

OnePlus 9 is offered in two storage configuration such as 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model that costs Rs 49,999 and a 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant that costs Rs 54,999. The OnePlus 9R is available for sale in three colour options- Arctic Sky, Astral Black, and Winter Mist.

While the OnePlus 9R is also available in the same 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model and the + 128GB storage model. Both the models carry a price tag of Rs 39,999 and Rs 43,999 respectively. It is offered in Carbon Black and Lake Blue colour options.

Both the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9R is available for purchase via Amazon at 12pm (noon) today for Amazon Prime members. The sale will go live for non-prime members a day later that is from April 15 at 12pm (noon).

Similarly, Red Cable Club members are available for purchase the two phones from OnePlus website or OnePlus Store app starting 12pm (noon) today.

Amazon and OnePlus.in are offering up to Rs. 3,000 off on the OnePlus 9 and Rs. 2,000 off on the OnePlus 9R to customers who make a purchase with SBI Bank Credit cards and EMI transactions.

Customers can also get up to 10 percent cashback on select American Express cards and up to six months of no-cost EMI on SBI Credit Cards on purchase in the OnePlus.in website between April 14 and April 30.

The OnePlus 9R features a 6.55-inch full-HD+ LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 1,080×2,400 pixels resolution and a 20:9 aspect ratio.

The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. The phone runs on Android 11 with OxygenOS 11 on top.

On the rear, the OnePlus 9R sports a quad camera setup that houses a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 primary sensor, a 16-megapixel ultra-wide-angle shooter, a 5-megapixel macro shooter, and a 2-megapixel monochrome sensor. The phone also has a 16-megapixel selfie shooter on the front.

It has a 4,500mAh battery that powers the phone. The phone also supports 65W warp fast charging.

Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. Sensors onboard the OnePlus 9 include dual ambient light sensor, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and accelerometer.

The OnePlus 9R measures 161×74.1×8.4mm and weighs 189 grams.

The phone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC, paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The handset runs OxygenOS 11 based on Android 11.

For photos and videos, there is a triple rear camera setup on the OnePlus 9 with a 48-megapixel Sony IMX689 primary sensor, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide Sony IMX766 sensor, and a 2-megapixel monochrome sensor.

For selfies and video calls, the phone houses a 16-megapixel Sony IMX471 selfie camera sensor on the front.

OnePlus 9 is backed by a 4,500mAh battery with a Warp Charge 65T fast charging support.

Connectivity options on the OnePlus 9 includes 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port.

Sensors onboard the OnePlus 9 include dual ambient light sensor, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and accelerometer.

There is also an in-display fingerprint sensor. In terms of dimensions, the phone measures 160×73.9×8.1mm and weighs 183 grams.
