OnePlus 10R 5G with Dimensity 8100 Max chipset launching on April 28

OnePlus has announced to launch the OnePlus 10R as the company’s latest offering at a launch event on April 28 in India. The device is expected to be available with an affordable price. The upcoming OnePlus 10R is said to be a renamed version of the OnePlus 10 Ace, which is launching in China on April 21.

OnePlus 10R 5G will come powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8100 Max chipset and 150W fast charging technology.

OnePlus 10R 5G launch in India

OnePlus has announced to launch the OnePlus 10R 5G in India along with OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G and the new OnePlus Nord Buds at an event on April 28. The event is scheduled to start from 7 pm IST. The event will be live streamed on social media channels like YouTube.

The device is said to be a renamed version of the OnePlus 10 Ace that is going to arrive in China on April 21. So we may get to see the device earlier than April 28. However, the company may tweak the specifications of the OnePlus 10 Ace and the Indian model could be different from the Chinese version. Or both the phones could have same specifications and the same design.

OnePlus 10R specifications

The OnePlus 10R is confirmed to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8100-MAX chipset. The MediaTek Dimensity 8100 MAX chipset will come with an octa-core CPU clocked at up to 2.85Ghz and an ARM-Mali G610 GPU. The new chip will provide better and faster performance than the existing Dimensity 8100 chip. It will also offer improvements in battery life.

OnePlus has also confirmed that the upcoming device will come with a 4,500mAh battery with 150W fast charging support. The phone will also have a HyperBoost gaming features.

OnePlus 10R will rumored to feature a 6.7-inch Full HD AMOLED display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, support for HDR10+, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The OnePlus 10R may come with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

It may sport a triple camera set up with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 primary camera in the rear and a 16-megapixel selfie shooter.

The OnePlus 10R is also speculated to be priced under Rs 40,000 – Rs 45,000 in the country.
