OnePlus 10 specs leak online, May come with 150W charging and 50MP triple cameras

OnePlus launched the OnePlus 10 Pro last month as its first flagship offering for 2022. The company is reportedly working on another smartphone, which is expected to be the vanilla OnePlus 10. Now, the features and key specification details of the device has been leaked online.

According to reports, OnePlus is testing two prototypes of the upcoming device with two different chips, one is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ and other is a Dimensity 9000 SoC. The leaked report has also revealed that the upcoming OnePlus 10 will feature a 150W charging technology, and it may also be the first OnePlus phone to drop the alert slider.

Note: The alert slider is a physical switch that adjusts the device’s settings and could be done without unlocking the device.

OnePlus 10 specification (expected)

OnePlus 10 is likely to have the same display as the OnePlus 10 Pro. But the screen resolution will be different. The upcoming device will feature a 6.7-inch LTPO 2.0 AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, but will only support FHD+ resolution.

As mentioned earlier, the there are currently two chipset variants being tested. That means the OnePlus 10 could be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ or the MediaTek Dimensity 9000.

The report also suggests that both the Dimensity 9000 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 have almost the same performance levels, the 8 Gen 1+ is yet to reveal what kind of performance boost it can bring in.

The RAM and storage variants will reportedly be same as the Pro model which are — 8GB/12GB RAM and 128GB/256GB of storage.

OnePlus 10 is rumoured to feature a triple rear camera setup that will house a 50MP main camera, 16MP ultrawide sensor, and a 2MP macro shooter. The camera module will have the Hasselblad branding as well.

For selfies and video calls, the device is likely to have a 32MP front shooter.

The 10 would pack a 4,800 mAh battery with support for 150W fast recharging. The 65W and 80W SuperVOOC chargers available in OnePlus 10 Pro,  can fully charge the battery in just over 30 minutes. However, the 150W charger may cut down that charging time down to below 20 minutes, said reports.

The OnePlus 10 is expected to arrive in the second half of the year.
