OnePlus 10 Pro spotted on Geekbench ahead of launch in India

OnePlus 10 Pro, which was recently launched in the Chinese market in January, is expected to make its debut in India and global markets soon. The OnePlus 10 Pro has reportedly surfaced on benchmark site Geekbench and camera app Camera FV-5, Thailand’s National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Council Committee (NBTC).

The OnePlus 10 Pro was introduced as the successor to last year’s OnePlus 9 Pro in China at a price of CNY 4,699 (around Rs 54,500). The smartphone comes equipped with a 120Hz AMOLED display and a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC.

According to reports, the OnePlus 10 Pro was spotted on Geekbench with the model number NE2213. The phone has been listed with an octa-core SoC, paired with 12GB of RAM.

The upcoming OnePlus phone has received a single-core score of 1,209 and a multi-core score of 3,351 on Geekbench. This test score may be different from the actual performance of the phone as the listed scores could just be of a prototype.

Prior to this, the phone was also spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) and Bluetooth Special Interest Group (Bluetooth SIG) certification sites. Reports have also suggested that it has entered the private testing stage in India and Europe in the month of January.

OnePlus confirmed that it is launching the OnePlus 10 Pro in India and other global markets in March at MWC 2022. The OnePlus flagship smartphone could debut by the end of this month.

In addition, tipster Yogesh Brar has suggested that the OnePlus 10 Pro will be launched globally and in India on March 22 or 24. The tipster also said that the company may release a new teaser of the device’s launch officially in the coming days.

OnePlus 10 Pro specifications

The Chinese variant of the OnePlus 10 Pro runs on Android 12 with ColorOS 12.1. It features a 6.7-inch QHD+ curved AMOLED display with 1,440×3,216 pixels resolution. Under the hood, the phone has  a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

The device has a triple camera setup at the back that includes a 48-megapixel primary sensor, 50-megapixel ultra-wide snapper, and an 8-megapixel telephoto shooter. at the front, the handset has a 32-megapixel selfie shooter.

The device is backed by a 5,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging support and 50W wireless charging.
