Reliance is scheduled to host it’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) event on August 28 at 2:00pm IST this year. The event will likely bring new launches and updates by Reliance. During the event, Reliance is expected to introduce two new Jio Phones.
Reliance is planning to launch two new Jio smartphones in the Indian market. Though, the company has not made any official announcement regarding the new Jio Phones. According to reports, the duo has received certification from the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website. This hints toward an imminent launch.
The rumoured handsets will likely be powered by the Snapdragon 480 SoC, accompanied by 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.
As per a screenshot shared by tipster Mukul Sharma (@stuffl0…….istings), two Jio Phones has been listed in the the BIS listing. The listing shows two devices bearing model numbers JBV161W1 and JBV162W1 received BIS approval on Friday, August 11. Despite disclosing the model numbers, the listing doesn’t divulge any specifications of the smartphones.
Reliance Jio has not revealed any specification details about the Jio Phones and it’s launch. The 46th AGM of Reliance Industries is scheduled for August 28 at 2:00pm IST. Reliance Jio Chairman Akash Ambani is expected to unveil information about the Jio Phones.
Earlier, a Jio Phone with the model number Jio LS1654QB5 was spotted on the Geekbench benchmarking platform. The rumoured Jio Phone was listed with Snapdragon 480+ SoC, paired with an Adreno 619 GPU and 4GB of RAM.
The other informations about the upcoming Jio Phones we have got so far are the device will have 5G connectivity support, 32GB internal storage and a 13-megapixel dual rear camera. The configuration.
