Motorola Starts Rolling Out Andoid 11 Stable Update For Moto G8 and Moto G8 Power

Lenovo-owned company Motorola announced in December 2020 that it will update many of its devices to Android 11. But, it did not reveal the exact time and date when these phones will be getting the update.

After the announcement, the first Motorola phone to get updated to Andoid 11 was Moto G Pro in late January.

Now, the company has started to roll out the latest Android update for two other smartphones.

As per reports of ‘PiunikaWeb’, Moto G8 and the Moto G8 Power are receiving Android 11 stable update. The update is currently available in Colombia.

The report also says that Motorola had actually began the Android 11 soak testing (beta program) for these phones four months back in November. meaning the firm took around four months to deliver the stable update.

Since both these smartphones use a common software build, they got the same update package.The Motorola Moto G8 and Moto G8 Power Android 11 stable update comes with build number RPE31.Q4U-47-35 and February 2021 security patches.

As of now, the new update is available for select users in Colombia and is expected to be available for more users as  in the coming day.
