Motorola has finally introduced the Moto G42 in the Indian market. The Moto G42 comes with 6.47-inch OLED display and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC. It has Dolby Atmos support and sports a triple camera system. The company has already unveiled it in the European market in early June.

Motorola Moto G42 Price and Availability in India
The Motorola Moto G42 is price at Rs 13,999 for the single 4GB + 64GB memory configuration in India. It will go on sale from July 11 via Flipkart and leading retail stores across the country in either Atlantic Green or Metallic Rose color options.
The phone can be purchased with a Rs 1,000 instant discount on SBI credit card transactions for a limited time.
Motorola Moto G42 Specifications
Like most Motorola smartphones, Moto G42 features a plastic body. The smartphone sports a 6.47-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels (FHD+), a 60Hz refresh rate and a 20:9 aspect ratio. The centered punch-hole panel also has a 700 nits peak brightness level, and a 409 PPI. It boots near-stock Android 12 with My UX features.
Under the hood, it carries a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC paired with LPDDR4x RAM and uMCP storage. The storage space can be extended with a MicroSD cards via a dedicated slot. It also has a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The phone offers dual stereo speakers with support for Dolby Atmos and also has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for bio-metric authentication.
The device has a triple camera system on the rear that includes a 50MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide unit, and a 2MP macro snapper. On the front, the handset has a 16MP shooter inside the punch-hole for selfies and video chats.
Connectivity options on the phone include 4G, dual-SIM, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, GNSS, and NFC. It packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for 20W fast charging.
The smartphone is IP52-rated for splash resistance. It measures 160.61 x 73.47 x 8.26mm in dimensions and weighs 174.5g.
