Motorola launches Edge 20 Pro with Snapdragon 870 processor in India, Pre-order starts from Oct 3 on Flipkart

Smartphone manufactures Motorola has launched its premium smartphone Edge 20 Pro in the Indian market today. With the introduction of the Edge 20 Pro, Motorola has strengthened its Edge 20 series in India. Now Motorola has three Edge 20 devices in India- Edge 20, Edge 20 Fusion and Edge 20 Pro.

The Motorola Edge 20 Pro is expected to cater the needs of the smartphone users who are looking for a premium smartphone with a stock Android experience.

Under the hood, the Edge 20 Pro is powered by Snapdragon 870 Processor with 5G connectivity. The device has a 6.7 inch 10-Bit AMOLED HDR10+ display with 144Hz refresh rate. The device is offered with Android 11 OS out of the box. Motorola promises two years of OS update for the Edge 20 Pro. This means that the device will receive Android 12 and Android 13 update in coming years. The smartphones also features Ready For and ThinkShield.

Some important specifications of the device include a massive 4500mAh battery with 30W turbopower charging, 8GB LPDDR5 RAM, UFS3.1 storage with 11 5G bands. The device has a USB-C port and Wi-Fi 6. The device has a storage (ROM) of 128 GB. The device will soon get a 256GB storage variant in India. However, currently Motorola only offers 8GB RAM + 128 GB Storage variant.

The device has a triple camera set-up on the rear while on the front it has a single camera. The triple-camera setup includes 108MP primary camera, 16MP ultra-wide camera and an 8MP macro camera. The selfie-camera is 32MP and is housed in at the top of the display.

The Motorola Edge 20 Pro is priced at Rs 36,999 for the 8GB +128 GB variant. It can be pre-ordered through Flipkart from October 3. The device is available in two colour options of Midnight Sky and Iridescent Cloud.

It is important to note that the Motorola Edge 20 Pro will be get special discounts under the Flipkart Big Billion Day Sale. The device gets 10 percent discount on Axis and ICICI Bank cards.

The Edge 20 Pro was originally launched in Europe in July 2021 at 699.99 Euros (Approx. Rs 60,200) for 12GB RAM + 256GB storage option.
