The next smartphone by Motorola, the Edge 70 Fusion, has already been leaked on several subjects, which provides a more precise insight into what the next generation in the Edge series should entail. Design renders in new models appear to share many similarities in appearance, but specifications have also included plenty of details that invite potential significant improvement in performance and display features compared to their predecessors.

Design and Colour Options:
According to leaked renders, the Edge 70 Fusion is going to be designed in the style of previous Edge Fusion models, with a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a hole-punch for the selfie camera and with slightly reduced bezels. The rear side should have a textured finish based on the fabrics of nylon and linen, and will no longer use glossy surfaces. Probably validated by Pantone colourways, there are Country Air (light blue), Silhouette (black), Blue Surf, Orient Blue, and Sporting Green.

Display and Build:
The smartphone is predicted to have a 144Hz refresh rate and 1.5K resolution on its AMOLED screen, a very high peak brightness of approximately 5,200 nits, and the longevity of Gorilla Glass 7i. With the help of the HDR10+, the screen will be luminous and colourful when it is used outside and indoors.

Performance and Software:
Motorola is reportedly planning to supply the Edge 70 Fusion with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset with 8GB or 12GB of RAM and a minimum of 256GB of storage under the hood. It will be delivered with Android 16 and will have up to three years of major updates to the OS, guaranteeing software longevity.

Cameras and Battery:
The photo features appear encouraging due to a triple rear camera system with 50MP and a 32MP front camera for selfies and video calls. The phone is served by a huge 7,000mAh battery that can be charged with 68W wired fast charging, indicating a high level of endurance in all-day use.
Launch Expectations:
Although the launch date or pricing have not officially announced by Motorola, the number of leaks and renders going online point to the fact that the Edge 70 Fusion can be released very soon, probably, in the month of March–April 2026.
