Motorola Edge 30 Pro set to launch in India today; Check expected price, specifications

Motorola Edge 30 Pro has been confirmed to launch at a global event, which is scheduled to be held on February 24. Earlier, e-commerce platform Flipkart revealed that the smartphone will also be coming to India and will have its debut on the same day as its global launch.

However, Flipkart have deleted the page that said Motorola Edge 30 Pro will launch in India on February 24. The live stream will kickstart at 8 PM IST.

Motorola Edge 30 Pro price (expected)

The Motorola Edge 30 Pro is tipped to be priced around Rs 50,000 in India. It is said to be the most affordable Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 smartphone in the country. However, after introductory offer, the phone is expected to cost around 45,000 in India. The handset will be available for purchase at Flipakrt.

Motorola Edge 30 Pro specifications 

The Motorola Edge 30 Pro is rumored to be the re-branded version of the Moto Edge X30 that was launched in China. The leaked report have suggested that its specification will be the same as the Edge X30.

It is tipped to sport a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with up to a 144Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ support. The screen will also have Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The handset will sport a centered punch-hole at the front that will house the selfie camera.

The Edge 30 Pro is expected to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC paired with 8GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB UFS 3.1 storage.

The phone will house a triple rear camera system that will be headlined by 50MP OmniVision OV50A40 primary sensor. The other two sensors of the camera system includes a 50MP ultra-wide unit, and a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies and video calls, the smartphone will have a 60MP shooter at the front.

The device will pack a 5,000mAh battery with support for 68W fast charging.

The smartphone will have 5G with 13 bands, WiFi 6E, Bluetooth 5.1, GNSS, and USB Type-C as its connectivity options. The phone will also feature dual stereo speakers and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
