Moto G71, Moto G51, Moto G31 could arrive in India soon; check specifications

Motorola launched a slew of new G-series smartphones — G200, G71, G51, G41, and G31 globally a few days ago. Now, a new report has hinted that three of these smartphones are coming to the Indian market soon. Motorola is reportedly planning to launch three smartphone, namely Moto G71 5G, G51 5G, and G31 in the Indian market.

All the three Moto smartphones have allegedly been spotted on the certification site Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), which hints towards an imminent launch in the Indian market.

It’s unclear if the other new G-series devices will make the jump to the subcontinent, but these three most definitely will. However, the company has not made any announcement about the India launch date of these phone yet, so we don’t have any information on the exact timeline of the launch.

Tipster Yash has spotted three Motorola models on BIS hinting with the model numbers –XT2169-1, XT2171-2, and XT2173-2. According to the tipster, the Moto G71 is allegedly listed with the model number XT2169-1, the Moto G51 is listed with the model number XT2171-2, and the Moto G31 is listed with the model number XT2173-2.

There is no exact details on the launch timeline of these models yet. Motorola has not confirmed the arrival of the new G-series models in India as well.

Moto G71, Moto G51, Moto G31 specifications

The Moto G71 5G comes with a 6.4 AMOLED screen with 1080×2400 resolution and it runs Android 11. The smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 695 5G chipset, coupled with up to 8GB of RAM. The phone packs a 5,000 mAh battery with 30W charging support. The device features a triple rear camera setup that includes a 50-megapixel main sensor, an 8-megapixel  secondary ultra-wide shooter, and another 2 MP macro snapper. At the front , the handset sports a 16 MP selfie snapper.

The Moto G51 5G goes with a massive 6.8″ LCD screen with 120 Hz refresh rate and 1080×2400 resolution. It has the same battery capacity, maximum memory and rear camera setup as the Moto G71 5G. However, It has a 13 MP shooter, and the phone only charges at 10W. It also runs Android 11.

The Moto G31, on the other hand, is a 4G device and comes powered with the Helio G85 SoC. It has the same screen  as the the G71 and boots Android 11 . It comes with 4GB of RAM, a 48 MP primary rear camera, a secondary 8 MP ultrawide sensor and 2 MP macro sensor. It has a 13 MP selfie shooter at the front. The device is backed by a 5,000 mAh battery with 10W charging support.
