Moto G71 5G with Snapdragon 695 SoC, triple rear cameras launched in India at Rs 18,999

Motorola launched the Moto G71 5G in India on Monday as the company’s latest 5G smartphone. The Moto G71 5G comes with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 695 SoC, a hole-punch display design and triple rear cameras.

The Motorola Moto G71 5G debuted in Europe first alongside the Moto G200, Moto G51, Moto G41, and the Moto G31 in November.  The phone comes in a single storage variant and two colour options.

Moto G71 5G price in India, availability

Moto G71 5G is priced at Rs 18,999 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage configuration. The smartphone is set to go on through Flipkart starting January 19 and will be available in Arctic Blue and Neptune Green colour options.

Note that the Moto G71 5G was launched in Europe with a starting price of EUR 299.99 (around Rs 25,200).

The Moto G71 5G comes with a 6.4-inch full-HD+ Max Vision AMOLED display with a resolution of 1,080×2,400 pixels, a 20:9 aspect ratio and a 60Hz refresh rate. The phone runs on Android 11 with My UX on top.

The phone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC, paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage.

The Motorola Moto G71 5G houses a triple camera setup on its back that is headlined by a 50-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.8 lens, along with an 8-megapixel secondary sensor that has an f/2.2 ultra-wide shooter and a 2-megapixel macro sensor.

The device features a 16-megapixel front camera sensor with an f/2.2 lens, for selfies and video chats.

Connectivity features of the phone include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The phone also has an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, a proximity sensor, and a fingerprint sensor at the back.

Motorola is backed by a 5,000mAh battery that supports fast charging. It comes bundled with 33W TurboPower charger. The phone also comes with an IP52-certified that makes it water-resistance.

The phone also has Dolby Atmos audio support. Besides, it measures 161.19×73.87×8.49mm and weighs 179 grams.

Moto G71 5G will compete against smartphones like ​​Redmi Note 11T 5G, Realme 8S 5G, Narzo 30 5G, and the iQoo Z3 in India.
