MIUI 13 features

Xiaomi MIUI 13 comes with improved privacy and enhanced security features. Users will see a new three-step verification process for enhanced security. The first step of the verification process is facial recognition, the next one is watermark reading of the user’s ID, and the third and last step is called“electronic fraud protection”.

The company has claimed that the facial recognition is not only limited to the user’s face, users can also be able to record everything from the waist up.

The MIUI 13 is going to introduce the “electronic fraud protection” that will save the numbers from the user’s phonebook and the user of the phone will be notified before accepting the call. With this feature, your phone will also have a record of devices and websites that might bring in malware.

Xiaomi has also added a new font for the MIUI 13, which is free to download for users and is supposed to be a sans-serif font that looks to be more symmetrical for both spacing and the character appearance. The new font is expected to simplify letters, numbers and signs for users.

In addition, all phones with MIUI 13 will receive new wallpaper options along with new widgets. Xiaomi says the new widgets are redesigned to align better in a grid.
