Made-in-India game Silly World gains over 3 Lakh pre-registrations thanks to its ‘Squid Game’ based mode

Pune-based studio SuperGaming has teased a new mode for its action multiplayer game, Silly World. The new mode is inspired from the Netflix thriller.

South Korean Series, Squid Game has become a hit Netflix series on the online video streaming platform. Taking advantage of the popularity of the hit series, made-in-India game teased a new Squid Royale Games mode for its customers and it has gave the game a huge boost.

According to reports, Silly World has already garnered over 300,000 pre-registrations thanks to its new mode.

Squid Game is Netflix’s biggest series ever. It has already got over 142 million viewers on the OTT platform and the count is rising. Many other popular games including Garena Free Fire, have introduced the show inspired games modes as well.

Last week, Silly World tweeted that it has already received 300,000 pre-registrations for the Squid Royale Games mode with a poster of the Game.However, it did not specify the launch date of the mode. But, it has assured users that it will include the “Red Light, Green Light” in the Squid Games Royale in a separate tweet.

“Red Light, Green Light” was the first deadly game played in the Squid Game series where a half the participants gets killed by firing.

So, as the first on-screen game is making its way to the latest Squid Royale Games mode, it is expected that Silly World will bring the other games from the series, such as Tug of War, Dalgona Candy, Marble Shoot, and the inevitable Squid Game itself.

Silly World currently has three game modes that is Jailbreak, Hide and seek, and Murder Mystery. Silly World supports up to 12 players and allows users to create their own Silly Avatar. The first and third game mode- Hide and Seek and Murder Mystery modes, allows users to select between Silly or Devil avatars. While in Jailbreak mode, users can choose between Cop or Robber avatars.

The game also has voice chat, emoticons and other interactive features. It has customised game settings that allows users to have a private match with friends.

Silly World is one of the fastest growing games as it has already registered over 10 million downloads on Android and iOS, as per the company.
