Locked out of your Gmail account, Use these steps to access the account

It can be easily assumed that most of the people who use an email account must be using a Gmail account. The dominance of Android smartphones across the world has further increased the use of Gmail accounts among users. It is so because you need a Gmail account to use an Android smartphone. However, there are times when you lose/ forget the password of your Gmail account and all hell breaks looks.

Try using your phone number to sign in to your Gmail account instead of a password. Using your phone number will ensure that you do not forget it as you have your phone number in your memory.

At times when you are locked out of your Gmail account, you will be given an option to send a password or OTP details to a recovery email ID or phone number. You must ensure that the recovery email account or the phone number should be in active use.

Try using the location from which you usually sign in

If you generally use your Gmail account from a specific location, then try to log in from the specific location. The location can be your workplace or home depending upon your email use. Try using the same browser that you usually do to access your email account.

Answer the security questions of Google

If you have a little patience in yourself, this particular step is definitely going to work. Simply try to recollect what the answers to your security questions were. Try answering all of them without skipping any of them. It is ok if you are unsure about any one of the questions.
